  • 1. Macromedia Flash ModuleMODULE 3: CREATING TEXT/GRAPHIC OBJECT AND CREATING A MOTION TWEENDuration : 80 minutesObjectives : Students will be able to: 1. Describe the concept of tweening. 2. Use tween motion 3. Use motion along path with guide layerContents : 1. To create a new Flash document, on your desktop, click START button and then click on the Macromedia to open the Macromedia Flash MX 2004 program. 2. Click on the Flash Document in the Create New menu to create a new Flash document. 3. Click on the first frame on the timeline. 4. Draw a shape on the stage. To draw this shape, you look at the Panel Tool. a. Select the Oval tool. b. Set the Stroke Color to color outlines your drawing. c. Set the Fill Color to fill the center of your drawing. d. To set the thickness of the Stroke Line look at the properties below. Module 3 / Page 1-1
  • 2. Macromedia Flash Module e. Click on the Stage and drag diagonally (across) to draw the shape.5. Right Click the shape then select ‘Convert to symbol’ at menu pop up.6. And then give the name. Set radio button Graphic and then click OK button. Module 3 / Page 1-2
  • 3. Macromedia Flash Module7. Insert Text on the stage. To insert this text, look at the Panel Tool again. a. Select the Text Tool. b. Setup the properties shown below c. Click on the Stage and drag the box to type your text.8. To add a Motion Tween, select the first frame. Right click the frame, and then choose the Create Motion Tween in the menu appears.9. Click frame 15 in the Timeline.10. Right Click the frame, and then choose Insert KeyFrame. Flash displays a straight line. Module 3 / Page 1-3
  • 4. Macromedia Flash Module11. Click and drag the object on the stage at frame 15 to a new location.12. Test your movie. {To test your movie, click on Control menu file and choose Test Movie or you just click ENTER}13. Save your movie file as Movie3 in your folder. Module 3 / Page 1-4
