  • 1. Evangelism in Lazarus’ Story
    John 11:1-16
  • 2. 4x4 Challenge
  • 3. Jesus Purpose
    John 10:9-10
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
    • See everything that Jesus does as a Model for Evangelism.
  • John 11:9-10
9Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours of daylight? A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees by this world's light. 10It is when he walks by night that he stumbles, for he has no light.“
    The light lives within YOU.
  • 4. Identify
Mary and Martha identifies Lazarus as being sick and near death.
In sin we are sick and near death
    Identification levels
Endearing or In-reach – people you love
Outreach – other people and people you have issues with
Identification is tied to your identity in faith
Have your own walk and talk with the Lord.
  • 5. Intercede
Meaning - to plead or make a request in behalf of another or others: (be the middle person)
Mary and Martha prayed to Jesus on Lazarus’ behalf
    Martha interceded for Mary
Martha and Mary interceded for the people through their continued walk with Jesus.
Through these intercession people were saved.
  • 6. Matthew 5:13-16
13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.  14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
  • 7. Intercession is your PRACTICE
    We are all pencils
The only difference between the saved and the unsaved
Is that the saved has an eraser
    Jesus is the Eraser
