    • In Romania, in Iași county, eight km s far from Târgu Frumos city (The Beautiful Fair) , there is a place named Cucuteni.
    • Those who study about the prehistoric times must have heard of Cucuteni. Vestiges of the Neolithic culture bearing the same name as the place were discovered here for the first time.
  • 3.
    • These are clay pots and statuettes belonging to Cucuteni culture
  • 4.
    • The Cucuteni clay pots and the idols are unmistakable because of their design (spirals and meanders) and the specific colors: red, brown and white.
  • 5.
    • A special museum, unique in Romania, was built in Cucuteni. It hosts a Dacian grave .

    • This is the tomb of a Dacian ruler from the fourth century BC
  • 7.
    • The ashes of the ruler and possibly those of his wife were buried in this tumulus tomb.
  • 8. These are some pieces of the Băiceni thesaurus: a helmet, bracelets, buttons etc. all made of gold.
