• Bullies, come in all shapes and sizes and can be hard to identify. But one thing's for sure, we've all come in contact with a bully at some point or another. As a parent, it's your responsibility to teach your child how to properly, respond. Create an environment that helps your child build friendships. I would like to share this link, about a service on how to protect your children. Luckily, read an article about like an on-star for phone that has been working perfectly for me and my son. With just a click of a button, you get conferenced with an emergency response agent, a list of people in your so called-safety network, and can even get escalated to the nearest 911. Check it here: http://www.SafeKidZone.com/

 2. 2. STOP
Stop the behavior! NOW!
Think about your actions and apologize for them.
Overcome your own problems. Talk to a trusted adult and try to find out why you act the way you do.
Pretend it's happening to you. How would you feel if someone was treating you the way you treat others?
3. 3. AWARE
Adult help. Speak up and get help from an adult. This is one time when it is okay to tell. It is not tattling. It is bully prevention! You can tell a teacher, a parent, or another trusted adult, or even an older student.
Watch for signs of bullying.
Always stick together. Try using the buddy system and be a good friend to those who are being picked on.
Respect others. If you hear others making fun of someone, or teasing them, stick up for them.
Ear. Lend your ear and be a good listener, and show that you care.
4. 4. STAND UP
Stand up for yourself - Be Assertive.
Talk – Communicate - Get Help. Tell someone you trust.
Agree with the bully, it will create confusion.
No reaction. Don't let the bully know that you are upset or affected in any way.
Distance - Walk away – join others.
Use Humor - Make light of the matter.
Power is in you!
