  • itsinsider Susan Scrupski , Jeanne d’Arc of Social Business at Social Business Council | Dachis Group Hi there. These Ins/Outs are meant to be whimsical. Please don't take them too seriously. My point on LinkedIn is that because of its early affiliation with OpenSocial, I expect to see many more social features coming from LinkedIn. As white collar workers start to feel the pressures of the economic crisis (job insecurity, layoffs, salary and bonus cuts), they'll begin to leverage their professional social networks for career stability. Although I'm a huge fan of Facebook, I don't see the same benefit/opportunities. Facebook's emphasis is weighted more heavily on the 'social' vs. the 'networking' that LinkedIn provides fairly well. Be happy to discuss further on the ITSinsider blog. 3 years ago Reply

  • saqibali Saqib Ali Susan, I would like hear your thoughts on why you think FB is on the way out, and what features (other than LinkedIn Answers) does LI provides that FB doesn’t provide.

Even though FB is currently being used for after school activities, there is nothing to prevent it from being used in school.
