Istinjaa is the cleaning of filth from private parts and surrounding areas with Water , Soft paper or Stones .
It is major offence/disliked (Makrooh Tahreemi) to do istanjaa with something which is food or respectable according to Shari'ah like the right hand or anything that can harm the skin like glass or anything that is of benefit to man, jinn or animals like cotton, bones or grass.
(I Seek Allah's protection from filth and evil spirits)
(Praise be to Allah who has removed harmful things from me and given me comfort)
When Leaving The Toilet
if someone wants to relieve themselves in the open/outdoor place you should try to find an isolated place out of the people's sight. You should not raise your garment until you are close to the ground (I.e to keep nakedness covered as much as possible) and red the Du'a I.e seeking protection from Shaitaan before being naked.
It is also very important that you should not recite the Quran, give response to a sallam or a sneeze when in this state. But only when essential (I.e warning a blind person of the danger of falling etc.)
9 . Wash the two feet up to the ankles, three times, beginning with the right foot. (once is obligatory thrice is Sunnah)
It is desirable to recite the following upon completion of the Wudu:
(I Testify there is no God but Allah the only One Which is without any partner and I testify that Muhammad is his servant and Messenger. O Allah ! Make me amongst the repentant and make me amongst the clean)
At this stage the ablution is completed, and the person who has performed it is ready to start his prayer. When the ablution is valid a person may keep it as long as he can, and may use it for as many prayers as he wishes. But it is preferable to renew it as often as possible.
It is also preferable to do it in the said order, although it will be accepted from those who fail to keep this order. Ablution in the said way is sufficient for prayer unless it is nullified.by any reason.
The ablution becomes nullified by any of the following;
Natural discharges, i.e., urine, stools, gas, etc.
The flow of blood or pus and the like from any part of the body;
Losing one's reason by taking drugs or any intoxicating stuff.
After the occurrence of any of these things the ablution must be renewed for prayer. Also, after natural discharges, water should be applied because the use of toilet tissues may not be sufficient for the purpose of purity and worship.
