    2. What is ICNA Sisters Wing?
      • Organization struggling towards establishing the Deen in this land
      • 1970's on  motivating Muslims to wake up to their obligations:
        • Protect their identities
        • Spread the message
      • Striving to achieve its objectives through an organized struggle— a national Islamic movement—ICNA
    3. ICNA Sisters Wing—Aims
      • ICNA Sisters Wing is trying to accomplish many goals, all of which assist in establishing a connection with this society
      • How?
        • Usra-tul-Maria
        • Dawah activities
        • Why Islam
        • MCNA
        • Noor
        • Online Institute
        • Cooperating with Others
        • Upcoming Family Program of ICNA
    4. Usra-tul-Maria
      • Established about 5 years ago for English-speaking sisters
      • Part of the Tarbiyah Department of ICNA Sisters Wing
      • Provides the resources for individual and collective tarbiyah
      • Building knowledge of Deen and society—training sessions, seminars, members’ meetings, etc.
    5. Dawah Activites
      • Working on both the individual and collective levels to spread the message of Islam
      • Strategies and techniques are developed for effective dawah to non-Muslims as well as Muslims
      • Distributing dawah material (Islamic literature, flyers, handouts, etc.)
    6. Why Islam
      • A subdivision of the Dawah Department
      • Works to spread the true message of Islam to non-Muslims
      • Has a program for mentoring, guiding, bonding with new Muslimahs
      • Ansar Project, Shahadah classes
    7. MCNA
      • Muslim Children of North America
      • Teaching children, raising them according to Qur’an and Sunnah
      • Understanding the society they live in and teaching them to be strong in their Deen
      • Companion magazine reaches out to children all over the U.S.
    8. Noor
      • ICNA Sisters Wing’s magazine in English
      • Created as a source for not only Muslim women and their families, but also as a source of dawah
      • Articles on topics relating to society and issues dealing with everyday life
    9. Online Institute
      • Goal—to offer members a chance to further develop the skills/ knowledge and understanding that they have
      • Creating effective da’ees (callers to Allah)
    10. Cooperating with Others
      • Relations with other organizations are defined based on the Qur’anic principle:
        • “ Cooperate on the basis of righteousness and piety and do not cooperate in the matters of disobedience" (Qur’an 5:2)
    11. Future Plans
      • ICNA’s Family Campaign for this year—to strengthen the most important unit of society
      • Educate Muslims and fellow citizens of other faiths about family values in Islam
      • Stronger relationship with Islamic Centers and Masajid
    12. Conclusion
      • ICNA Sisters Wing is working diligently to establish Allah’s Deen in the Land
      • Through many of its programs, ICNA Sisters Wing works to establish a connection with society to better achieve its goals
