Publishers can no longer sit back and assume that their e-strategies are complete merely by converting print to PDF. They need to understand customer needs, habits and preferences, and leverage technology to constantly innovate and provide superior quality offerings. Publishing, like every other industry is rapidly evolving, and ‘plain ebooks’ were just the beginning. It is time to focus on the next generation of ebooks and ‘where we need to go next’!
