      • Hello friends!
      • We would like to introduce
      • the town where our school is located
      • and its beautiful surroundings
    • Poland Czech Republic Slovakia Jablunkov .
      • It is a small town situated on the east of the Czech Republic
      • It has about 7 000 inhabitants
      • There is a lovely square with lots of restaurants, cafes, pizzerias and small shops
      • Every year we celebrate a special folk festival „Gorolski Święto – Highlander feast“
    • The square
    • Museum of the II World War Convent Sanatorium Sanatorium
      • It is the biggest folk festival in our region
      • It lasts three days
      • Folk dancing groups and bands from all over the world come here to have a performance
      • It is time for meeting friends and family reunions
      • You can buy only home-made food and
      • home-made products of wool, wood, craft etc.
      • We live in a valley surrounded by
      • the Beskidy Mountains .
      • Summer
      • hiking
      • mountain biking
      • wide variety of trailing paths
      • beautiful views
      • many chalets and wooden cottages
      • Winter
      • winter sports
      • skiing routes, ski slopes, ski lifts
    • Jablunkov is located in the valey among the Beskidy mountains
      • It is the biggest winter event in our region for children of Polish minority schools
      • They are Olimpic games for children at the age of 6-15
      • More than 500 skiers participate in the games
      • 230 pupils from surrounding villages attend our school
      • Pupils are at the age of 6-15
      • It is the Polish minority school in the Czech Republic
      • We learn Polish, Czech, English, German and Russian languages
      • We like sport, music, craft, art, science and nature

      • It is one of the largest and most important national park not only in the Beskidy Mountains, but also in the Czech Republic, an area of almost 170 ha.
      • The trenches of Jablunkov is a system of fortifications constructed from the mid-sixteenth century to the mid-eighteenth century along the Silesian and Hungarian border in the Jablunkov Pass area in order to defend against the Turkish threat.
