                      Comenius Project 2011-2012
When we arrived we met with the families that
host us and we split up.
At the evening we met with all the students in a
pub and there we knew the French people.
On Wednesaday 15th in the
evening we came back to the
school   to   dinner  with    the
students and the parents of them
who had cooked some typical
foods.
 We visited Wuppertal, that is a wonderful town
 really near to Gevelsberg. The city has an air
 train.
 We  listened European direct lecture about
 professions in Europe and possibilities of practical
 work in Europe, presented by Frau Krink and Herr
 Erfkamp.
Spanish and French companies
 We exposed our presentations about spanish
 companies (Danone and Volvo), also the french
 students did it.
We visited a
hydraulic engine
factory in
Wuppertal. Also we
hat the chance to
construct our own
hydraulic motor.
How is the school?

 It was a big school, there were 4 clases per
  course and in all the clases they speak
  german except English and other languages.
 The first and the second day we were in
  the physic class and chemistry class. The
  third and the fourth day we didn`t do any
  class.
Subjects
       In regard to the subjects we found that their
    level compared with ours is very similar.
      In addition, they took courses in which we could
    participate, such as Castilian, English and
    chemistry.

      When     we     were     at the    Institute
    of Gevelsberg we found that make many breaks
    between subjects compared to us. During the
    morning (8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) they were 2
    breaks. We do not make any.


 We realised that not all the students hat class in
    the afternoon. It depends on the subjectes which
    they do.
THE MENSA
 The mensa is a very important part in the
 school, is the place where the pupils eat
 and where they spent the time without
 class.
Livestyle in Gevelsberg
        On     summer          evenings      tend    to     go
    home (17:00 PM), they do their homework. By mid-
    afternoon they use to go in a pub for chat.

        In winter when they leave school often go home
    to    do    homework        and    then   they   entertain
    surffing internet, playing consoles, etc…

        In Gevelsberg, many people practice sport in the
    evenings.   Also     this   year    opened   a   pool   and
    a sports pavilion.

Gevelsberg

  • 2. When we arrived we met with the families that host us and we split up. At the evening we met with all the students in a pub and there we knew the French people.

  • 4. On Wednesaday 15th in the evening we came back to the school to dinner with the students and the parents of them who had cooked some typical foods.
  • 5.  We visited Wuppertal, that is a wonderful town really near to Gevelsberg. The city has an air train.
  • 6.  We listened European direct lecture about professions in Europe and possibilities of practical work in Europe, presented by Frau Krink and Herr Erfkamp.
  • 7. Spanish and French companies  We exposed our presentations about spanish companies (Danone and Volvo), also the french students did it.
  • 8. We visited a hydraulic engine factory in Wuppertal. Also we hat the chance to construct our own hydraulic motor.
  • 9. How is the school?  It was a big school, there were 4 clases per course and in all the clases they speak german except English and other languages.  The first and the second day we were in the physic class and chemistry class. The third and the fourth day we didn`t do any class.
  • 10. Subjects  In regard to the subjects we found that their level compared with ours is very similar. In addition, they took courses in which we could participate, such as Castilian, English and chemistry.  When we were at the Institute of Gevelsberg we found that make many breaks between subjects compared to us. During the morning (8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) they were 2 breaks. We do not make any.  We realised that not all the students hat class in the afternoon. It depends on the subjectes which they do.
  • 11. THE MENSA  The mensa is a very important part in the school, is the place where the pupils eat and where they spent the time without class.
  • 12. Livestyle in Gevelsberg  On summer evenings tend to go home (17:00 PM), they do their homework. By mid- afternoon they use to go in a pub for chat.  In winter when they leave school often go home to do homework and then they entertain surffing internet, playing consoles, etc…  In Gevelsberg, many people practice sport in the evenings. Also this year opened a pool and a sports pavilion.
