  • Republic Act 7279 It requires the developer of a proposed subdivision project to develop an area for socialized housing project (SHP).
  • Examples: This is covered by Sec. 18 of RA 7279 Total project area 20% of 5 hectares = 1 hectare for SHP Total project cost 20% of a P28 million project = P 5.6 million
  • • Projects intended for theunderprivileged and homeless and wherethe selling price of a house and lotpackage does not exceed P150,000•Projects with four unit or less•Projects within a density of 100 units ormore per hectare.
  • Example A Not covered by Sec. 18 of RA 7279Project area : .15 hectares or 1,500 square metersNo. of saleable lots : 18 Density Formula = No. of Units Area 18 = .15 = 120 units/hectare
  • Example B This is covered by Sec. 18 of RA 7279Project area : 1.5 hectares or 15,000 square metersNo. of saleable lots : 100 Density Formula = No. of Units Area = 100 1.5 = 67 units/hectare
  • 30% Roads, alleys, open spaces, playground andpark requirements 70% Maximum saleable area of the land
