With the project ‘B.C. Byte Series’ I intent to build a poetic fiction where the past and present merge into one same time through elaboration of objects that’s refers to the archaeological findings belonging to the Museum’s collections. In these objects, ancient alphabets and symbols are replaced or confronted by current technological ones; its meaning remains suspended in order to propose new perceptions. This fictional story pseudo scientific is presented in the traditional way of museography, where the fictional discourse is tempered with contents of the official history and scientific information. On this ‘history’ there’s no identification to constitute a poetic work in attempt to provoke critical readings in relation to the discourse of knowledge and exhibition by the Museum and its objects.
