Comprehensive Mobile Advertising Offering ADTECH provides integrated digital marketing solutions that enable web publishers, ad networks, agencies and advertisers all over the world to manage, serve and evaluate their online advertising campaigns, including display, video and mobile formats. With the mobile advertising market continuously evolving, ADTECH wanted to expand their mobile offering with a new in-app advertising delivery solution that would meet the current and future needs of publishers. Native SDK for iOS and Android iQuest was engaged by ADTECH to design, develop and test a mobile advertising SDK (Software Development Kit) for iOS and Android that could be easily integrated into third- party mobile applications, enabling publishers and advertisers to accommodate ad delivery into their apps. The main focus was to create a solution compliant with the IAB’s MRAID 2.0 Rich Media Standard . The SDK had to be robust, light, easy to integrate and simple to use, while being able to handle ad mediation for full flexibility. Together with ADTECH we overcame the limitations and practices of developing two individual native SDKs for both platforms in order to create a single, unified architecture. We built the new kit from the ground up and designed it to provide all the necessary tools to integrate adverts into apps, in addition to established ad serving features. The SDK was fully integrated with ADTECH’s rich media tool, allowing it to display rich media ads that can access device native features including screen size, gestures, camera, GPS, compass, calendar, SMS and phone. Robust, Light and Versatile Mobile SDK The result of our partnership with ADTECH is a mobile SDK with a setup and integration time of under 10 minutes, capable of displaying rich media ads that can exploit and make use of devices capabilities, thus creating user-tailored ads with a more interactive feel to them. The SDK contains the header files, a sample application, the program library – the actual SDK as one single file, as well as the SDK documentation and its key features including preloading and ad caching, online and offline ad viewing, ad mediation between different vendors, full screen overlays, targeting of app name and SDK version and cross app unique user detection. Showcased at the 2012 Mobile World Congress, the new mobile SDK is the first of its kind to be fully compliant with the IAB’s MRAID 2.0 Rich Media Standard , ensuring high interoperability, uniform ad delivery and support for industry standard ads. It is also the first and only VAST 2.0 compliant mobile SDK. The new product was successfully integrated into ADTECH’s ad serving platform (ADTECH IQ), already enabling publishers and ad networks across the world to get the most out of their in-app advertising. The mobile SDK completes ADTECH’s end-to-end solution for campaign management of mobile devices, allowing them to exploit emerging market opportunities.
