Este documento resume una revisión bibliográfica del tratamiento fisioterápico en el síndrome de Prader-Willi. Se discuten varios temas como el tratamiento de la escoliosis, los patrones de marcha, la evaluación de las capacidades específicas y los efectos del ejercicio. Los programas de rehabilitación que incluyen ejercicio físico y dieta han demostrado mejorar la composición corporal, la capacidad física y reducir la ansiedad en pacientes con este síndrome.

4. INTRODUCCIÓN
1. DEFINICIÓN
El síndrome de Prader-Willi
es una alteración genética
que afecta al cromosoma
número 15.
Descrita en 1956 por: Andrea Prader, Alexis Labhart
Heinrich Willi.

- Tt quirúrgico: artrodesis ≥ instrumentos híbridos.(7)
- Tt conservador:mantiene curva ≤70º.(5)
- Tt (GH) no afectan ni al inicio ni a la evolución de la escoliosis.

- SD ≈ SPW, pero SD más lenta (10).
- SPW(afecta MMII) VS Síndrome de Ehlers –Danlos(Afecta

5. Programas de rehabilitación
ejercicio físico + dieta
- ↓IMC, peso, necesidad de oxígeno, alteraciones psicológicas(como la
ansiedad)+ ↑ tolerancia al ejercicio (4,19,20).
- tres fases: ejercicio físico+ análisis de la marcha+ medición de la fuerza=
mejoras a corto plazo (flexión dorsal de tobillo y los flexores de rodilla) y a largo
plazo (hiperextensión de rodilla y los flexores plantares). eficacia similar a GH
(11).
- ejercicios en decúbito supino modificados y adaptados a SPW (8).
- TM+osteopatía,mejoran tono , fuerza muscular, coordinación, marcha, estado
inmunológico, escoliosis+ ↓a ansiedad (1).
