    • BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 8SIGNS YOUR HUSBAND MAY BE CHEATINGSECTION TWO
    • CHANGE IN BEHAVIOR/STRANGEBEHAVIOR  Heads straight to the shower on arrival (without even saying a word or a kiss hello).  Pays more attention to their appearance (may join the gym to trim up or buy new attire to make them more appealing).  Starts picking fights on non existent issues and storms out of the house in anger (and stays out late till the wee hours of the night).  Smells of a feminine perfume or wears a different, unfamiliar cologne when he gets back home from his daytime activities. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 9
    • ROMANCE DEPARTMENT Does not seem interested in cuddling, kissing or love making. Lack of interest in your marital relationship (he will give more attention to the children if you have any but none will be forthcoming your way). Introduction of new sex moves and love making prowess never shown before (but maybe he just wants to spice up your love making). BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 10
    • TELEPHONE AND COMPUTER MANNERISM  Unexplained charges on the phone bill (especially to unlisted and unknown numbers).  Answering the phone away from you and talking in whispers when near you.  Spending too much time on the computer (especially at odd hours of the night) and password protecting the computer and phone.  Going to the bathroom or toilet with the phone or switching it off so that you cannot access its contents. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 11
    • PAPER TRAIL Increased ATM withdrawals when he is on the out of town trips and work conferences. Charges to the credit card of intimate gifts and items that you never received (like him buying some lingerie near valentines day and three months later, you have no clue where the lingerie is at!). Duration of calls to unknown numbers longer than 5 minutes. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 12
    • PAPER TRAIL CONTD. Has a separate mail box address. Does not allow you to peruse the phone bill or the credit card statements as well as other bank statements. Excessive charges on bills when he purports to be on a business or work related trip; yet the company takes care of all travel and accommodation expenses. Rushes to get mail from the mail box before you do. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 13
    • OTHER SIGNS Clearing of browser history after surfing the net. Lipstick on his shirt collar. Finding condoms and other strange items in his car. No longer takes you to office parties. Discourages you from visiting him at work or calling him. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 14
    • SIGNS CONTD. As a woman, we usually have a gut feeling, a sixth sense of some sort when something is not right in our marital relationship. If something strange happens that is out of his norm, investigate. The signs are simply a guideline, an indicator of some sort, but should not be taken as absolute that he is cheating on you. You will need factual information to substantiate his suspicious behaviors. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 15
    • SECTION THREE: HIRING A PRIVATEINVESTIGATORGUIDELINES ON WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR ANDBENEFITS OF HIRING ONE BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 16
    • WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR WHENHIRING Licensed by the SIRD (Security Industry Regulatory Department), a branch of the Singapore Police Department. When the investigator was licensed and when the license expires. If any disciplinary action has been taken against the investigator. If there has been any complaints regarding his or her professional conduct. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 17
    • WHAT TO LOOK FOR CONTD. Ask for referrals when you go for the consultative meetings and verify them. The investigator’s professional and academic certification. The number of years (experience) the private eye has on infidelity investigations. The qualifications of the people who will help him or her in conducting the investigation. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 18
    • WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR CONTD. The rapport you have with the investigator (Does he or she make you feel comfortable and confident in his or her investigative abilities?). The price the investigator quotes for the investigative services (Are they reasonable?). Mode of payment if the investigator gets contracted. The timeline proposed for satisfactory completion of the infidelity investigation. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 19
    • WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR CONTD. If the investigator has a professional indemnity cover. Ask your attorney to read through the contract before signing so as to identify any loop holes or any extra, hidden charges. Integrity and trustworthiness of the investigator (How confidential they are about details of the previous referral cases). The mode and frequency of communication during the investigation (Will she/he keep you in the loop?). BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 20
    • BENEFITS OF HIRING A PRIVATEINVESTIGATOR He or she is licensed to snoop around; if you are caught trailing the other woman, you will be slapped with a stalking charge. The investigator will provide you with solid evidence (audio, visual and audio-visual) that will inform your decision. She/he will be objective and clear headed so will provide you with unbiased facts and information regarding the inveatigation. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 21
    • BENEFITS OF HIRING A PI She/he has the experience & expertise to get information from various sources (Some of which you had no idea existed). She/he has the requisite equipment to collect the evidence needed to prove or disprove your husband’s faithfulness. She/he can be an expert witness in case you land in divorce court. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 22
    • BENEFITS OF HIRING A PI She/he has the innate ability to detect dangerous situations and the knowledge of how to diffuse the various scenarios associated with infidelity investigations. It is cost effective as she/he knows when and where to get certain information (due to lack of experience you will be running around like a headless chicken!). If your husband turns out to be innocent, you will have peace of mind and he will be none the wiser on your suspicions and doubts. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 23
    • TIPS AND TRICKS THE PI WILL USEDURING THE INFIDELITYINVESTIGATIONSSECTION FOUR BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 24
    • THE PAPER TRAIL Involves tracking and analysis of phone bills, bank statements and credit card receipts as well as ATM withdrawals to build a profile of your husband’s calling and spending habits. The phone bill will be analyzed on the number of calls made and received to all the numbers on the bill and the duration of each call. You will be given the report to identify the numbers you are not familiar with and the PI will dig deeper to find more information on them and the person on the other end of the line. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 25
    • THE PAPER TRAIL The PI will also give you an analysis on the call duration of each call on top of the time the calls were made. Calls made late at night or are more than 2 minutes in duration (& you have no idea who the number belongs to or is unlisted or unknown), will be investigated further. All calls that are business related will be eliminated and all personal calls investigated further. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 26
    • THE PAPER TRAIL The PI will do a background check on your husband’s financials & credit information (This will help PI in determining his spending pattern, what he buys & where he buys his purchases). The credit & financial report will be presented to you and you will peruse over it & point out unfamiliar & suspicious purchases & spending. The PI will follow the credit trail of the suspicious &unfamiliar purchases & spending and look out at the store’s and ATM video CCTV to determine whether he was alone or accompanied by another person during his spending and buying spree. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 27
    • THE PAPER TRAIL After identifying the person who was with him (if he was accompanied), they set up a surveillance on them. They will also look at the copies of the receipts of purchase to see whether he has another listed address or bank account you have no idea existed and track the transactions made from them. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 28
    • THE PAPER TRAIL The paper trail will help in narrowing down the individual your husband calls the most (for personal & not business reasons) as well as where that gift you thought he bought for you ended up. The next task is setting up a surveillance or doing some digital forensics to come up with more information and clarifications. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 29
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS Cheating has gone hi-tech due to technological advances. (The old lipstick on his collar or smelling of another woman’s perfume may not come into play). Your husband may be having an online or emotional affair behind your back. (He may be coming home early and helping out around the house but has a side dish somewhere in the virtual world). BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 30
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS The PI will use digital forensics to uncover online infidelity. Digital forensics is the assessment of digital media in a forensically sound way with the aim of identifying, preserving, recovering, analyzing and presenting facts and opinions with reference to the information obtained. Involves e-mail tracking, phone surveillance, data recovery & Computer Forensics. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 31
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS The items subjected to digital forensics are: computers, mobile phones, digital cameras, USB storage devices like flash disks, portable hard disks, and GPS enabled devices as well as other more sophisticated digital media like game consoles. (Depending oh how clever and shrewd your husband may be). Requires a PI who has vast knowledge in computer science and ICT. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 32
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS:PHONE SURVEILLANCE Use of phone surveillance software to access all information stored on the phone. The PI will be able to listen to & record all incoming and outgoing calls, Received & Sent SMS, duration of calls as well as the phone book. The PI will also be able to track the movement of your husband through the GPS tracker function on the surveillance software. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 33
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS:PHONE SURVEILLANCE The PI will analyze all the information collected from the phone and make factual and logical conclusions from the data collected. Any evidence and red flags will be presented to you on top of a copy of all data recorded by the phone surveillance software. Depending on the information uncovered, you may find your husband guilty or off the hook for being unfaithful/ BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 34
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS:DATA RECOVERY This is the process of salvaging or restoring data from damaged, failed, corrupted or inaccessible storage media, such as: hard disk drives, CDs, flash drives, storage tapes, RAID, DVDs, when it cannot be accessed normally. The PI will be able to retrieve and analyze all the recovered data: music, pictures, word documents, databases et al, and make a report on all the activities you have been up to using your digital devices. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 35
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS:DATA RECOVERY Depending on the information retrieved, the PI will be able to piece together and come up with facts and evidence on what your husband has been occupying himself with. You may just discover that your husband has another family, has a gambling problem or has a dark side you never knew about. The information retrieved may uncover something way worse than him cheating on you. So keep an open mind and be ready for anything and every thing. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 36
    • USE OF DIGITALFORENSICS:COMPUTER FORENSICS the examination of computer devices and media in a forensically sound way with the intent of identifying, preserving, recovering, analyzing and presenting facts and opinions with reference to the information obtained. The PI will usually retrieve information from the computer’s hard disk drive, flash drives as well as the external hard disk drives and storage devices like the CD and DVDs. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 37
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS:COMPUTER FORENSICS Looks at the web history, list of downloaded files, last accessed files, email messages that have been deleted, deleted computer files, faxes sent and received on the computer, photographs and all other media that can be stored, transferred and used the computer and storage devices & on top of that, a list to show when the files were deleted. E-mail tracking may also be considered as a part of computer forensics. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 38
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS:COMPUTER FORENSICS The PI will analyze all these information and present to you all activities carried out on the computer. You will see all the site visited (& discover your husband has a thing for pornography or other sexual addictions), emails sent and received, photos that were deleted (he may have been dating several women at the same time; now you know!), or may even have typed several love letters till the wee hours of the night/ BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 39
    • USE OF DIGITAL FORENSICS:COMPUTER FORENSICS You may also discover he has gone on several romantic escapades(claiming they were business trips), from the travel reservations he made online. The data recovered may show he is planning a surprise anniversary party or a second honeymoon for the 2 of you (that’s why he has password protected the computer & deleted all web history). BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 40
    • SURVEILLANCE surveillance may be defined as a PI monitoring the behaviour, activities, movements and exchange of information of a husband under investigation so as to gather data for purposes of deducing whether the husband is cheating on his wife or not. The types of surveillance that may be used by a private investigator include: computer surveillance, telephone surveillance, aerial surveillance, biometric surveillance, surveillance cameras, and social network analysis as well as vehicle and foot surveillance. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 41
    • SURVEILLANCE: TYPES THE PIUSES Computer surveillance: email tracking & exchange of information using all computer devices. Telephone surveillance: tapping into the husband’s telephone & listening in on his calls. Aerial surveillance: collection of video or visual imagery using an airborne device like a helicopter or a satellite BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 42
    • SURVEILLANCE: TYPES THE PIUSES. Social network analysis: the PI monitors your husband’s activities on all social networks & analysing the data collected to come up with a picture on who interacts with online and what his interests are, his thoughts and how he presents himself to social network community. Foot and Vehicle Surveillance: Following your husband on foot or by road, taking photos and recording his movements & activities using surveillance devices. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 43
    • SURVEILLANCE  Whichever the type of surveillance the PI will use, he will be able to bring you audio (from telephone tapping & listening devices), visual (photography and stills from GPS trackers), & audio-visual (video recorders, mini cameras) evidence on your husband’s activities.  The PI will give you a surveillance report (done in an objective and a logical sound manner, free from bias) on his/her discovery during the surveillance. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 44
    • TIPS & TRICKS CONCLUSION The PI will use all or one of the investigative methods (paper trail, digital forensics & surveillance) to get all the evidence needed. Mainly uses surveillance hand in hand with either of the 2 aforementioned methods to come up with a complete report on whether or not your husband is cheating. The evidence collected may allude to another crime he may be taking part in or personal problem your husband may be having and unwilling to share. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 45
    • TIPS & TRICKS CONCLUSION You should keep an open mind so as to come up with a way forward depending on the information uncovered (especially if it uncovers something worse like cheating e.g. child trafficking, fraud, child pornography) & with the help of the attorney and PI, make a sound decision. It is better to hire a PI when you have any suspicions, than confront your husband without any solid proof and be sorry later. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 46
    • SECTION FIVE:CONCLUSIONSUMMARY OF ALL THE SECTIONS BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 47
    • CONCLUSION: IMPORTANT NOTESTO KEEP IN MIND. The PI you contract should be duly registered by the SIRD, have integrity and have no complaints filed against him or her. Hire a private investigator who you have a good rapport with, has the requisite professional and academic certification as well as experience to handle your case. The signs of cheating given in this presentation are indicators and not absolute sign of guilt. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 48
    • CONCLUSION: IMPORTANT POINTSTO REMEMBER. Under no circumstances should you diverge to anyone that you husband is under investigation. Whatever the outcome of the investigation, the ball is in your court and all final decisions has to be made by you. Make sure you have an attorney to look over all contracts and transactions made between you and the PI. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 49
    • CONCLUSION MAKE SURE ALL INVESTIGATIONS UNDERTAKEN ARE LEGAL AND DO NOT DO ANYTHING ILLIGEL OR DETRIMENTAL TO YOUR WELL BEING OR YOUR HUSBAND’S IF IT IS DISCOVERED HE HAS CHEATED. BY SK INVESTIGATION SERVICES http://www.sk.com.sg 50
