  • 4. The Challenge Need a customizable DIY system to effectively manage multiple programs and releases. Requirements included:  Ability to Centralizes all data and artifacts surrounding each Program and Release for one central source of truth  Transparency for the entire organization  Help the org “see” where we are with each release  Auditable for SOC 2 control  Decision-making insights for Senior Management  Implement a standardized release processes  Accessible to multiple teams across the globe

Ease of Use • Can quickly and easily build a web based relational database with no formal development Centralized and Transparent Program Information • Provide stakeholders desktop and mobile access • Control “who sees what” – multiple user-based home page views, advanced user access and permissions • Update and customize apps as business and program needs change • Empower users to quickly and easily slice and dice data (through reports or filters) • Build “on the fly” customized reports Standardize release process • Provide a clear state of release events AND evidence of process compliance for SOC-2 controls including release process workflow illustrating production changes from “request to release”

Adam’s Key QuickBase Tips • Challenge: How do I get people to use my QuickBase? – Accept that no one cares about your QuickBase as much as you!  – Accountability: build processes into your QuickBase that others are accountable for. – Link your stakeholders to the “one” program/release QuickBase and use it to run meetings…the more exposure the better! – Talk to your users! Let them help you make your QuickBase more useful. It’ll simultaneously train them AND help make your QuickBase more useful for your constituents! • Challenge: I feel like my QuickBase is never complete. – Welcome change! Your QuickBase can go broad and deep in all directions. – You’ll need to hone it over time as the landscape changes. This is the huge benefit of QB!
