An Agro based company having global presence contacted us to setup their business in Dubai.
ENGAGEMENT PLANNING:
We studied the client’s requirements and the nature of their business. Then we advised them to
setup their business in Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). The first step was to prepare the
detailed business plan for the new company in DMCC. The business plan included information on the
company’s scope of activities, its products and services, its clients and a market analysis, its
competitors, details on the management team and operational strategy.
BUSINESS SETUP:
Once the business plan was confirmed by the client, Intuit suggested suitable names for the
company after performing a search on the companies already registered. An application was filed
registering the preferred name of the client. On receiving approval of the preferred name, the
Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association and all other legal documents were drafted.
Our team visited the DMCC Authority to submit the application documents in person.
BANK ACCOUNT SETUP:
Once the company was incorporated, Intuit initiated the process of bank account opening in Dubai.
Intuit completed the bank application form and sent it to the client for signature. After receiving the
signed application form, Intuit approached the bank and submitted the form along with the due
diligence required. Then the bank account was opened within 2 – 3 weeks.
VISA ASSISTANCE:
On request from the client, Intuit approached the DMCC Authority for assistance with the visa
application. DMCC provided the necessary application forms for visa as requested. Once the
application forms were filled, Intuit sent it to the client for signature. As soon as the signed form was
returned to us, Intuit submitted them to the DMCC and hence the visa was granted.
SUMMARY:
The meticulous planning and execution of the steps enabled the formation of the company in a
proper manner. Checklists were made at every stage to double ensure that all requirements were
met correctly. Now, our client is conducting business efficiently in Dubai.
