The internship, even though it includes actual operation of the facilities of the employer, is similar to training which would be given in an educational environment; The internship experience is for the benefit of the intern; 2.   • According to NACE “the average hourly wage rate for interns at the bachelor’s degree level is $16.26” Which is .3 percent higher than last year ($16.21) For those with a master’s, the average is $21.90 Which is .1 percent lower than last year ($21.93)
