World’s 50% of the population is young, below 30 years of age. If this 50% population decides to add value to rest of the 50% of the populations, the world would be the better place”.

These are the words of Ms Hina Hazrat, 24 year old student pursuing her undergraduate degree in physiology at
University of Karachi at Pakistan, a Social Activist operating an NGO called, The Youth Republic in Pakistan and
involved in several social activities related to Women Empowerment and Women’s right in general. Hina is an
Active Member and Local representative from Pakistan and represented Pakistan at Challenge Future Global Summit where 80 people invited from 45 countries.

She spoke in an event organized by Challenge:Future and InsightHR at Xcellon Institute, Ahmedabad.

Dear Friend, on 24th April 2012, Insight HR (a company formed by visionaries in Training and HR domain) initiated a series of Workshop to build competencies of Management Students. Insight HR launched its flagship workshop program of "Building Competencies : Learning Effective Hiring Skills" in association with Challenge Future, an International Organization working for Youth Empowerment. The first workshop was held at Xcellon Institute Ahmedabad.

India has rich pool of 570 million people under the age of 25, 4 times higher than thetotal population of Japan, 24 times the total population of Australia and near to the total population of Europe,currently striving for getting the right competencies that enable them to get the desired work environment.To envisage our vision of Competencies Development, Insight HR and Training Consultants has approached Mr. JatinKataria, President - Challenge Future India Professional Chapter and discussed the issues faced by the youth. Wedecided to work at a grass root level and initiated our first program on “Building Competencies for the Students:Learning Effective Hiring Skills”. The program was aimed at building competencies to Final Year HR Students. Webriefed this idea to Mr. Devang Patel, a Visionary and Academic In charge at Xcellon Institute, Ahmedabad. XcellonInstitute is an Education initiative of the founders of a global IPR driven major pharmaceutical company . On 24th April 2012, during the event, Mr. Dhaval Hansaliya, Manager (InternationalBusiness Development) - Hidden brains infotech and a core team member of CF India professional chapter hasstarted the discussion by sharing his experiences with Challenge: Future, Networking Possibilities through Challengesand Summit, Possibilities of Sharing Ideas with Global Network and possibilities of Incubating innovations.Dr Dharmesh Bhadja, Vice President of Challenge:Future India Professional Chapter was connected through Skypeand delighted to see the interest level of Xcellon Students. He also shared his experiences and briefed studentsabout the activities of Challenge Future, Vision and possibilities of connecting with global youth and share about hisCF Global health savior project.Ms Hina Hazrat was also connected through Skype from Pakistan. Hina shared her perspective and objective ofconnecting with Challenge:Future. She is a social activist and did several social activities for Women Empowerment,Polio Eradication etc earlier which were noticed and appreciated by global community through Challenge:Future.She is now International Ambassador of global projects. She shared that today she has partners in Malaysia andSingapore who are working on her projects, thanks to Challenge:Future. Post Experience Sharing Session, we set upa floor for students to explore the possibilities.After a formal launch of Challenge:Future, We started our workshop on “Effective Hiring Skills”. 15 Students hasparticipated in the workshop. These students are currently doing their Master in Business and Administration withHuman Resource Management as their Specialization. The objectives of the workshop were 1) To build the right set of competencies in terms of Knowledge, Skill and Attitude for HR jobs. 2) Learn to find the right set of manpower for the organization. 3) Learning the Skills related to Screening Candidates over Job Portals, Preparing Effective Job Descriptions,Workshop was facilitated by Trainers, Mr. Kaushal Mandalia and Ms Niyati Bhat Jathal from Insight HR and TrainingConsultants.
