  • Sandy CashMailbox 108“The Communist Manifesto” shows both the positive and negative actions of the bourgeoisie. Forexample, it says that the bourgeoisie has helped create huge cities, but it has also taken thesentimental value of family, instead reducing family to a mere money relation. According toMarx and Engels, the purpose of their manifesto is to unite the working men into helping themcreate a Communistic revolution. In “The Communist Manifesto,” the authors talk about both the positive and negative actions ofthe bourgeoisie. It mostly talks about the negative actions of the bourgeoisies, only mentioning acouple of the positive actions. These include how the bourgeoisie has helped developed an easierway to communicate by land. The bourgeoisie also helped to create great cities, which increasedthe urban population. This document lists a lot of the negative actions of bourgeoisie. In this list,it talks about how the bourgeoisie has created weapons, and how it has taken the honor from jobslike physicians and has made them into wage-laborers.The purpose of this Manifesto is to unite the working class. Once the working class is united,Marx and Engels want to have a Communistic revolution. In this revolution, they hope to “free”the proletarians. In “The Communist Manifesto,” Marx and Engels’ purpose is to unite the working class to helpfree the proletarians by a Communist revolution. It tries to persuade the working class by listingthe positive and negative actions of the bourgeoisie. As it is listing these, it shows that thebourgeoisie actions have been more negative then positive. For example, it says that thebourgeoisie has created a large number of productive forces, but it is using these forces to makeweapons that bring death.
