Latest newsletter states “It is currently taking an estimated 30 working days to digitise and make available a thesis” cost is just over £40 plus VAT per digitised itemElectronic copies of theses awarded at the university are passed to me for inclusion in GALAThesis PDF files are locked down in GALA (agreed with Alan Reed, Director of Postgraduate Programmes) – they can be viewed and downloaded but not copied or printed.

  •  MyiLibrary – over 5,900 titles Dawsonera - search, rent and preview over 130,000 titles Cambridge Books Online - 981 titles in 3 collections Oxford Scholarship Online - 433 titles in 2 collections
  •  If you are logged into the portal and using Google search or Google Scholar you will find that the underlying shared technology enables Google to recognise that you are from the University of Greenwich and link to full text content subscribed to or paid for by the library. This depends on compatibility with specific databases, e-resources and publishers
  •  eThos is the British Library’s Electronic Theses Online System - all UK doctoral theses will be digitised by the British Library You will need to submit an electronic copy of your thesis You can download digitised theses from eThos after registering
  •  Interlibrary loans via the British Library SCONUL Access Quick links via the portal JISC Collections e.g. COPAC, Suncat including Directory of Open Access Journals M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries
