Eliminating Negative Use of Power in Workplace Leadership: • Adopt and foster Great Leadership behaviors and attitudes • Have Effective and Sustainable People Policies that articulate and facilitate “eliminating” bullying and zero tolerance of harm • Build Consistency and Responsiveness • Empower others to speak up • Actively listen to the workforce, all the time …….. Applying Lessons Learned to ensure Positive Change: • Review, investigate, analyze – incidents, historical cases, rumours • Gather facts; ignore assumptions • Document, document, document……findings, decisions, risks, lessons • Discuss and agree what to take forward • Apply the learnings - into strategies, education, policies & procedures, public relations, risk management methodologies • Check for and remove ambiguities within and conflict between strategies and policies • Monitor and review – ongoing (AS/NZS 4581 – Management Systems) © 2013 Serenidad Consulting Pty Ltd
