  • 1. Hatches Creek, Northern Territory JUNE 2014HIGHEST GRADE TUNGSTEN PROJECT IN THE WESTERN WORLD1
  • 2. Hatches Creek Location • Located 380 kms north east of Alice • Approximately 100kms east of Stuart Highway and Adelaide-Darwin railway • Well graded unsealed road from Stuart Highway • Excellent heavy transport access • Established exploration camp onsite • Excellent water supply for future processing JULY 20142 PROJECT LOCATION MAP
  • 3. Hatches Creek Tenements (100% AJR) • 2 x 100% owned Exploration Licences • 34 km2 covering 17 large scale historical mines located entirely on Aboriginal freehold land • Traditional owners fully support mining • Exploration Agreement in place with traditional owners and Central Land Council • Hatches Creek offers a substantial near term tungsten production opportunity June 20143 EXPLORATION LICENCES 22912 and 23463
  • 4. Hatches Creek Mining Centres • 3000 tonnes of 65% WO3 produced between 1915-57 • Ultra high grade lodes (1-12% WO3) open at depth below deepest old workings of just 60m • Stunning high grades of tungsten remain in mine waste dumps, tailings and alluvials, average 0.85% from recent bulk sampling • Historical drilling intersected 5% tungsten at 90m vertical depth at Pioneer Mine • Outstanding potential for ultra high grade multiple lodes within all former mining centres • Initial exploration target of 2Mt of 2.5% WO3 (average historical mined grade) June 20144 MINING CENTRE LOCATIONS and BULK SAMPLE RESULTS
  • 5. Pioneer Mine • Hatches Creek’s largest producer • Approximately 80,000 tonnes of waste dumps and tailings containing high grade tungsten mineralisation • 12 lodes mined to maximum depth of 60m. All continuous at depth • Historical drilling returns 5% WO3 from No. 2 Lode at 90m depth • All lodes could be accessed from central shaft • Detailed historical mapping provides blueprint for future mining. Very strong potential for substantial high grade resources May 20145 MINE INFRASTRUCTURE and WASTE DUMPS
  • 6. Pioneer Lodes & Sample Results 20/08/2014Twelve Lodes Accessible From Central Shaft6
  • 7. Hit or Miss Group • The highest potential of all the groups to contain substantial resources in multiple high grade lodes beneath the old mines • Significant quantities of lode remains unmined due the inability of the old-timers to separate copper from tungsten • Nagrom’s metallurgical analysis demonstrates that 60 years later copper is easily separated from tungsten with 80%+ tungsten recoveries from gravity separation • Approximately 50,000 tonnes of waste dumps contain high grade tungsten May 20147 CHINAMANS SHAFT MAIN LODE
  • 8. Hit or Miss Group Lodes and Sample Results June 2014INTENSIVE CLOSE SPACED LODE SYSTEM, EXCELLENT OPEN PIT POTENTIAL8
  • 9. Diamond Group • Very high grade mine waste dumps (~20Kt) • Potential for very large alluvial and eluvial resource • Potential for multiple ultra high grade lode system to continue below old mines May 20149 LOOKING SOUTH OVER DIAMOND MINE WASTE DUMPS and ALLUVIAL GULLY
  • 10. Diamond Group Lodes and Sample Results 20/08/2014SIX MAIN LODES10
  • 11. Treasure Group • The highest grade and purest tungsten produced at Hatches Creek • Average mined grade 4.5% WO3 • High grade tungsten in 30,000 tonnes of mine dumps and alluvial gullies • Historical drill hole intersected multiple tungsten lodes below old workings May 201411 LOOKING WEST OVER TREASURE GROUP
  • 12. Treasure Group Lodes and Sampling Results 20/08/2014VERY HIGH GRADE LODES AVERAGE 4.5% WO312
  • 13. Copper Show Group • Similar to the Hit or Miss Group - very high grades of copper and tungsten in primary lodes and approximately 20,000 tonnes of waste dumps • Only worked to very shallow depths due to inability to separate copper • Recent metallurgical work undertaken by Nagrom confirms copper easily separated with today’s technology • Outstanding potential for multiple high grade tungsten/copper lodes May 201413 COPPER SHOW MAIN SHAFT
  • 14. Copper Show Lodes and Sample Results 20/08/2014SIX HIGH GRADE TUNGSTEN-COPPER LODES14
  • 15. Economic Geology • Immediate mining target of 200,000 tonnes of high grade mine waste and tailings in situ at surface • Hard rock resource target of 2.0Mt of 2.5% WO3 within quartz lodes from 50 – 300m depth • High volume surface target of alluvial and eluvial tungsten at Diamond Group • Tungsten recovery utilizes cheap crushing and gravity separation techniques – inexpensive OPEX and CAPEX • No chemicals required in processing May 201415 COARSE WOLFRAMITE FROM GREEN DIAMOND GULLY
  • 16. About Tungsten • Global consumption - 100,000 tpa • Hard metals – 60% • Steel alloys – 22% • Mill products – 10% • Light bulbs and other – 8% • Defence, construction and mining are the biggest users May 201416 Above: Tungsten outperforms Copper and Tin Chinese ban exports of tungsten concentrates
