  3. 3. NSW New Prospects 3
  4. 4. 4 Intrusion Related Gold Field – Thomson Fold Belt Shallow granite; W, Mo, Au mineralisa+on No Granite seen; 0.7m at 4.2% zinc, 113 g/t silver, 0.5% copper, 0.8% +n Deep granite; 3.3 m at 1.5 g/t Au in veined sediments
  5. 5. 5 Intrusion Related Gold Systems discovered ! New IRG mineral field discovered – nine systems so far with just 16 drill holes ! All nine bulls-‐eye magneLc anomalies drilled are large, mineralised hydrothermal systems ! 14 mineralised holes – 2 barren; a very good strike rate ! High grades of up to 3.7 g/t gold, 4.2% zinc, 113 g/t silver, 0.5% copper, 0.8% Ln, 0.6% tungsten, 0.9% lead, 0.2% molybdenum in iniLal drilling ! Targets idenLfied for follow up drilling; Co-‐operaLve Drilling Grants applied for.
  6. 6. F1 prospect sec+on 6 ! Quartz-carbonate stacked vein systems in granite with pyrrhotite, pyrite, sphalerite and galena ! Spot highs over 1m – ! Mo 0.2%, ! W 0.3%, ! Au 0.24 g/t, ! Pb 0.1%, Zn 0.1%, ! Ag 13 g/t, As 1%
  7. 7. F1 prospect plan 7 ! Plan is to target outer Mo-Au zone; at apex of anomaly
  8. 8. Cut A prospect sec+on 8 ! Quartz-carbonate stacked vein system in altered sediments with pyrrhotite, pyrite, sphalerite, galena ! Spot highs – ! Au 3.7 g/t, ! Zn 1.8%, ! Pb 1%, ! Ag 58 g/t ! Cu 0.2% ! Drilling to target upper levels of intrusion at shallow depth – 150m, up dip of gold intersection
  9. 9. Prospects -‐ Tin 9
  10. 10. ! Acquired as open ground – December 2013 ! 1km long gold anomaly in soil to 0.7 g/t Au 10 ! 16 holes; all hit anomalous gold; 12 ended in mineralisaLon. Another IRG – Mt Jacob ! Best 88m at 0.4 g/t Au ! Stratabound; to drill below
  11. 11. 11 Another IRG – Mt Jacob
  12. 12. 12 Mt Jacob – Tin skarn at Basin One
  13. 13. 13 Tin Prospects – Victory Tin ! up to 3.4% Sn in stream sediments, draining potenLal “roof” target under Ordovician sediments
  14. 14. 14 Tin Prospect -‐ Wilgaroon ! Wilgaroon Granite – Highly evolved geochemistry among the Wagga Tin Granites – similar to Ardlethan Mine Granite ! Both S-‐type granites with high Rb, low Sr, TiO2; same age at 408-‐410 Ma ! One previous hole; 1km outboard of granite -‐ 250m of Ln-‐tungsten alteraLon and veins -‐ including best assays of 2.5% Sn, 1.42% W, 0.1% Cu, and 0.2g/t Au.
  15. 15. Prospects -‐ Copper 15
  16. 16. ! Acquired from Newmont in April 2014 for 1% NSR ! 1km x 400m surface soil anomaly, with only 1 drill hole in that area ! Best historical intercepts include 4m at 4 g/t Au and 81 g/t Ag from 2m depth; and 4m at 1.1% Pb, 0.7% Zn from 26m 16 VMS Cu-‐Pb-‐Zn-‐Au target: HAVILAH ! VTEM flown June 2014; results shortly
  17. 17. ! Large magneLc anomaly – 3km x 3km ! Two holes by YTC in 2010 targeted marginal magneLc highs ! Both recorded hemaLte alteraLon with anomalous copper-‐gold 17 ! To target hemaLte more effecLvely – go for magneLc lows VMS Target: Wilga Downs ! Age -‐ 414.9 ± 4.2Ma (Early Devonian – i.e. not Maquarie Arc)
  18. 18. ! 1km magneLc anomaly – in Ordovician anLcline ! Coincident IP, soil anomaly ! Two holes – AMAX 1971 – down dip, 150m anomalous Cu (to 1300ppm), Pb (to 600 ppm) and Zn (to 1700 ppm) 18 VMS Target: Wilga Downs ! Then CRAE 1978 – again anomalous Cu (to 610ppm), Pb (to 2900 ppm) and Zn (to 2200 ppm) ! Neither hole tested full extent of IP anomaly
  19. 19. ! Large magneLc anomaly – 3km x 3km ! Two holes by YTC in 2010 targeted marginal magneLc highs ! Both recorded hemaLte alteraLon with anomalous copper-‐gold 19 ! To target hemaLte more effecLvely – go for magneLc lows Porphyry Cu-‐Au Target: Mullagalah ! Age -‐ 414.9 ± 4.2Ma (Early Devonian – i.e. not Macquarie Arc)
  20. 20. ! Newcrest exploraLon – 3 effecLve holes in 2005 20 ! Chemistry on Newcrest holes shows Macquarie Arc shoshoniLc-‐ type ! Anomalous zinc (717 ppm), copper (166 ppm), and gold (0.1 g/t) in cover rocks Porphyry Cu-‐Au Target: Warraweena ! 30km strike length of covered Arc rocks untested
  21. 21. ! New FronLer – new mineral field discovered 21 Posi+ve Investment Strategy ! Strong pormolio in NSW; a relaLvely underexplored state ! Ongoing addiLonal project assessment ! No debt; Lghtly held stock ! Experienced and skilled board and management team
