    1. Creating References with EndNote
    2. Accessing and creating an EndNote Library
      • Access EndNote from
      • your desktop via All
      • Programs; EndNote;
      • EndNote Program

    4. Name and save your library
    5. Blank library ready to add references
    6. Adding a reference
    7. Select New Reference from the References menu
    8. Choose a reference type from the menu
    9. Fill in as much detail as required and close the reference
    10. Preview of how the reference will look in your bibliography
    11. Inserting references into Microsoft Word
    12. Activate the EndNote toolbar in Word
    13. Select the reference you wish to insert
    14. Place the cursor where you wish to insert the reference
    15. Click on ‘insert selected citation’ from the EndNote toolbar
    16. The reference will appear in the text and…
    17. … .in an alphabetical list at the end of your document
