Method of grouping <ul><li>In this method we make six columns </li></ul><ul><li>Write the original given frequencies </li></ul><ul><li>Sum of the frequencies taken two at a time starting from first frequency of column 1 </li></ul><ul><li>Sum of the frequencies taken two at a time starting from second frequency of column 1 </li></ul><ul><li>Sum of the frequencies taken three at a time starting from the first frequency of column 1 </li></ul><ul><li>Sum of the frequencies taken three at a time starting from second frequency of column 1 </li></ul><ul><li>Sum of the frequencies taken three at a time starting from third frequency of column 1 </li></ul>

Why we are using method of Grouping <ul><li>Model class is generally the having the highest frequency.But in some problems the concentration of frequencies may be more around a frequency which is less than the highest frequency.Therefore apply grouping and analysis table to find the correct model class. </li></ul>
