As the capitalof Vietnam for almost a thousand years, the enchanting Hanoi is considered to be one of culturalcenters of Vietnam, where most of Vietnamese dynasties had left behind their imprint. Even thoughsome relics have not survived through wars and time, the city still has many interesting cultural andhistoric monuments for visitors and residents alike.Our tour starts with pickup at the airport. Transfer to your hotel in Hanoi and free for your personalactivities.Overnight at hotel, Hanoi.Day 2: Hanoi City tour - Sapa (night Train) (B/L)Be ready at the lobby at 8am for the bus.Today, we will spend a full day to visit the city. We start with visit to President Ho Chi Minhsmausoleum and residence. We also visit the famous One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Leaving the Presidentscomplex, we continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Văn Miếu). Although several Văn Miếu can befound throughout Vietnam, the most prominent and famous is that situated in the city of Hanoi, andwas functioned as Vietnams first universityAfter lunch in a local restaurant, we go to the Museum of Ethnology, which is an excellent museumcontaining the ethnic costumes of the various minorities of Vietnam, as well as relics, tools and evenfull size replicas of their homes and buildings.Back to the hotel.   • 2. Day 3: Lao Cai - Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van - Sapa (B/L)You are welcome at the station for transfer to Sapa. Breakfast upon arrival at local restaurant. We willthen start from your hotel for 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of MuongHoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. A 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, throughterraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. If lucky enough, you will havechance to see endless ripening paddy fields on continuous terraces. Lunch at a local family, it givesyou a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily lifestyles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes on the way and get back to Sapa by jeep ormotorbike.Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.Day 4: Cat Cat & Sin Chai - Hanoi (B/L)A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong.Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that wasconstructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of theriver, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof ofVietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up onthe way back to Sapa.Free to explore the town before pickup for transfer to the station for night train to Hanoi.Overnight on train to Hanoi.Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)Halong Bay has twice been recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Area for its exceptionalscenic beauty and outstanding geological and geomorphic values. Thousands of islands emerginguneven in the fanciful waves look strong and magnificent but also mild and vivid. Amidst these islands,we feel as if we were astray in a petrified legendary world.You are picked up at the station. Transfer to pointed place for pickup for Halong tour. You can leaveyour luggage behind and pack an overnight bag.12.15 pm: Arrive in Halong city, board our traditional wooden junk boat for an overnight journey. Sipon a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you begin the cruise through the bay. Feast on adelicious lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cockislet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover untouched pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sotcave, which is situated in the centre of the UNESCO-declared World Heritage area and is one of themost imposing grottos of the Bay. You will then have chance to explore Halong bay on your own bykayaking from the Soi Sim beach to Luon Cave to enjoy the quite atmosphere of the bay. Continue to explore the Bay.8.00am: Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet,Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on theway back to Halong city, etc. Arrange your luggage and do the check out onboard at around 9.00 am.

Free time for your personal activities and dinner before pickup for flight to Hue.Overnight at the hotel in Hue.Day 7: Hue city tour (B/L)Hue is the former capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen dynasty (1802 - 1945). Here remains manyhistorical buildings. Inside the city are the Royal Citadel, Flag Tower, Royal Palace, and Royal Tombs.Hue’s Forbidden Purple City was once reserved for the royal family; it was severely damaged duringthe War. Outside the city is the religious site known as Nam Giao Hill, or Heaven’s Altar.You are welcomed at the station. Transfer to the hotel.Today, you are picked at the hotel for full day tour. Our visiting sites includes Old Imperial City, FlagTower, Thien Mu Pagoda, Royal Tombs of Tu Duc. The city possessed the largest harbor inSoutheast Asia in the first century and was known as Lâm Ấp Phố (Champa City). It has beeninfluenced down the centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures.Today, you will take the taxi to our pointed place for the bus to Hoian. town - Journey south alongHighway 1 past the Hai Van Pass and Lang Co.Upon arrival to Hoian, take a walking tour to visit the ancient town with all major interesting sites:Ong Pagoda, Hoi An Museum, Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, Assembly Hall ofCantonese Chinese Congregation.Overnight at hotel, Hoi An.Day 9: Hoi An - My Son (B)Pickup at the hotel at 8am for transfer to My Son Holy Land, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of HoiAn. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remainingwith red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some ofSoutheast Asias greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar,Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was built from the 7to 13 centuries.Back to the town in the afternoon. The cathedral wasconstructed between 1863 and 1880 with two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters.Overnight at the hotel in Saigon.Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Cao Dai Temple (B)We will start from your hotel to visit the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh (120 km) where daily Mass isdone by the Caodaism followers at noon. Cao Dai is a combination of Buddhism, Confucianism,Taoism, native Vietnamese spiritualism, Christianity and Islam. After lunch, we head to Cu ChiTunnels. The tunnels cover an extensive underground network (approximately 200 kilometers) oftunnels dug initially by the Viet Minh and later expanded by the Viet Cong. The tunnels containedhospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used extensively for refuge and storage andalso utilized as a military base for the Viet Cong close to Saigon. The 1968 Tet Offensive was launchedfrom Cu Chi with surprising effect. A section of the tunnels has been widened to allow tourists to get afeel for what the life underground must have been like (please note that this will be hot and sweatyand also a bit claustrophobic!).Overnight at the hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.Day 14: Hochiminh - My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho (B/L)Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green ricefields. On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, viewstilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, havelunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre,enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals.Have a short cycling tour (applied for private tour/if time permitted) then enjoy seasonal fruit & honeytea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family businesswhich epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life asyou roam through the fruit plantations and villages. Free time to visit the bustling Can Tho market.Day 15: Can Tho - Long Xuyen - Chau Doc (B)Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (BassacRiver), then proceed to Cai Rang floating markets (& Phong Dien is optional), which are the liveliest inthe whole religion.Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wanderaround the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to pass a "Monkey bridge"which is built by only o¬ne stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden. Stop for lunch. Proceed to ChauDoc via Long Xuyen to visit the crocodile farm. Check in o¬n arriving in Chau Doc. Admire thelandscape from the Sam Mountain summit down the Vietnamese - Cambodian border, visit the Cavedpagoda. Overnight in Chau Doc.Day 16: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh (B)After breakfast, you are transfer to the pier for speedy boat from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh.
