In 2001 NEERI collected water samples from Clean Water Reservoirs of Jaipur. Testing of physio-chemicals parameters was done. The water samples were found to high concentration of TDS, hardness, alkalinity, Calcium and Magnesium . The average values of the before mentioned parameters have been graphically presented for the 25 CWRs.The full article is available at http://www.indiawaterportal.org/post/39393.

  1. 1. Clean water reservoir level Pritha 1
  2. 2.  In 2001, NEERI collected water samples from 25 Clean Water Reservoirs of the city. Samples were collected for few days in three seasons ( summer, winter, monsoon). Testing of physio- chemical parameters as mentioned in BIS:10500 were carried out. No bacteriological parameter was tested at CWR level. 2
  3. 3.  The samples were found to have high concentration of TDS, hardness, alkalinity, Ca and Mg. In the subsequent slides graphs of the average levels of the above mentioned parameters are shown. The red line indicates the maximum limit of the parameters as given in BIS:10500 drinking water standards. 3
