    • CONCEPT “ WATER MANAGEMENT DOESN’T MEAN RESTRICTING THE USE,BUT REDUCING THE WATSE………” IDENTIFYING THE WASTE.. FRESH WATER USED FOR FLUSHING “ DOES IT MATTER WHAT KIND OF WATER IS USED FOR FLUSHING….” DISCHARGE OF RAIN WATER AND GREY WATER TO DRAIN. “ IF WE LOSE A DROP OF WATER EVERY SECOND, IT AMOUNTS TO ABOUT 10000 Ltrs. OF LOST WATER IN A YEAR…..”
    • EcoTrap inserted in the urinal outlet. This combination trap seal blocks out sewer gases, and blocks out urine odors from the room. NO FLUSH URINAL No-Flush urinals resemble conventional fixtures. The urinal bowl surfaces are 99% urine repellent. Daily cleaning procedures are the same as flushed urinals.
    • DOES IT MATTER WHAT KIND OF WATER IS USED FOR FLUSHING ??…… A toilet that will re-use the water that goes into flushing, rather than discharging it along with the excreta. This will be possible by not allowing water and solid waste to mix.

      • THE PIPES ARE FITTED WITH MICROFILTERS WHICH CLEAN THE LIQUID.
      • SMELL TRAPS FITTED IN PIPES AND TANKS ENSURE THAT THE TOILET DOES NOT STINK.
      • AFTER FIVE-SIX DAYS THE TANK WILL BE REFILLED.
      ZERO WASTE TOILET

      • INITIAL WATER FLUSHED = 370 X 30 = 11100 Ltrs/Day
      • THIS WATER IS NOW USED FOR 6 DAYS
      • THEREFORE, AVERAGE USE = 11100/6 = 1850 Ltrs/Day
      • PLUS 10 % OF WATER FLUSHED

IN NO WATER URINAL ----------- 370 X 10 = 3700 Ltrs AS 90% WATER IS SEPARATED 2035 Ltrs/Day THIS CAN BE TREATED GREY WATER WATER SAVED PER DAY--- 11100 + 3700 = 14800 Ltrs/Day FRESH WATER REQUIRED PER ----- 17850 – 14800 = 3050 Ltrs/Day ANNUAL FRESH WATER REQUIRED ---- 613050 Ltrs/Day * * CONSIDERING 201 WORKING DAYS = 185 Ltrs/Day

      • Though Two thirds of our planet is covered by water.
      • Nature has given the urban dwellers only two Source of water.
        • Rain water.
        • Ground water.
      • Therefore sensible use of this NATURAL RESOURCE should be done.
    • RAIN WATER HARVESTING 2500MM ANNUAL RAINFALL OVERHEAD TANK 66000 ltrs MICRO HYDRO ELECTRIC PUMP EXISTING UNDERGROUND RESERVOIR 125000 ltrs SLOPE ROOFTOP RUNOFF 70% OF (329 X 2500) = 575750 LTRS SURFACE RUNOFF 70% OF(301 X 2500) = 526750 LTRS OVERFLOW WATER TO THE GROUND CATHCHMENT AREA 329 SQ.M PERCOLATION PIT SANDBED FILTER OPEN SURFACE AREA 301 SQ.M WATER IS PUSHED BACK IN THE PIPE WHEN THE TANK IS FULL, THIS OVER FLOW IS DIRECTED TO THE PERCOLATION PIT. GROUND WATER RECHARGE ANNUAL RAIN WATER AVAILABLE- = 575750 + 526750 = 1102500 LTRS ANNUAL FRESH WATER REQUIRED = 613050 LTRS 489450 LTRS IN EXCESS
    • DEEP WELL BORING DEEP WELL BORING FOUNTAIN FOR AERATION TO UNDERGROUND RESERVOIR PUMP DURING DRY DAYS i.e. FROM THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER TO JANUARY WATER DEMAND CAN BE MET BY THE EXISTING DEEP WELL BORE. THE FOUNTAIN…THOUGH AN ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENT IT NOT ONLY ADDS TO AESTHETICS BUT ALSO HAS A FUNCTIONALITY… IT REDUCES THE IRON CONTENT BY OXIDIZING FERRIC TO FERROUS… FILTER BED

    • 33% water can be saved without effecting normal life, just by reducing wastage… Use Bucket Instead Of Running Water For Car Wash Watering Plants During Morning Or Evening Save Water Loss Due To Evaporation. Low Flow Shower Heads Maximizes Water Coverage & Minimizes Water Volume A Bottle Of Mineral Water In The Cistern Controls The Amount Of Water Being Flushed At One Go. Kitchen Activities Should Be Planned To Reduce Wastage Of Fuel And Water Use Mug Instead Of Running Water While Brushing Run Dishwasher, Washing Machine And Dryer Only When Fully Loaded HABITUAL PRACTICES
      • The energy of running water can be harnessed by a turbine and converted to electricity.
      • The amount of energy produce depends on “head” (vertical distance) and "flow" in litres per second.
      • Heads as low as 5 meters and flows of 1 ltr per second can produce power.
      HYDRO ELECTRIC MOTOR THE CARBON LOAD OF WATER • It takes 1.2 kWh of electrical energy to supply and treat 1m 3 of water. • That is results in 0.54 kg of CO 2 per m 3 of water CAN THIS SITUATION BE REVERSED…………… “ IF EVRY INDIVIDUAL PRODUCES ENERGY, HE CAN BECOME A SOURCE OF USEFUL ENERGY….”
