Some papers of Professor R.C. Gupta Professor Radha Charan Gupta, a veteran historian of mathematics, has beenassociated with the Indian Society for History of Mathematics (ISHM) from itsinception in 1978; he is a founder member of the Society and is now a VicePresident of its Council, for over a decade. He took charge, at the foundingof the Society, of bringing out the bulletin of the Society, Ganita Bharati, andfostered it as Editor for over a quarter century, until 2005. Professor Gupta has been a proliﬁc researcher and expositor, with profoundimpact on the study of the history of Indian mathematics. His bibliography runsinto hundreds of titles, and the topics involved cover almost all aspects of Indianmathematics from the ancient to the pre-colonial times.
