    • Solar workshop – TrainingSettlement at Don BoscoPresentation The Salesians of Don Bosco spread all Since its creation, our hot water solar systems over the world technical trainings by workshop has grown following two lines of opening access to all. The technical development. First, systems manufacturing to training center in Howrah, Kolkata demonstrate our expertise and gain credibility suburbs, offers a range of varied to solicit new customers. Then, in a global and training courses from simple 3-month- sustainable approach, the solar workshop has long training to advanced engineering been developing along its main axis which is training over several years teaching and training Project to develop a training course in solar energy Definition of a common axis of development over 5 years, in two phases: - Practical training: In a first step, a technical trainer in solar hot water solar systems (HWSS) manufacturing will go on site to train local trainers and implement a training course with a level close to what apprenticeship is in Switzerland. The time spent there is evaluated to 2-3 months in order to train future trainers on the practical aspects of HWSS manufacturing. 4 systems will be carried out under our supervision in order to make the people in charge fully autonomous. - Advanced Training: Then, a more qualified trainer, at the theoretical level, will take the relay in order to train specialized trainers with a good academic-level laid on good theoretical understanding, and a practical know-how of the field of solar photovoltaic and HWSS as well. The time spent there will be at least one year to allow for a sustainable implementation of the training course. How to support usFunding for this action involves the establishment of a production plant and equipment, and cover operatingcosts during the first year until the workshop reached a financial balance.
