Signing up for a slideshare.net account to be able to upload a powerpoint presentation so that it can be converted to an online presentation that you can embed into a wikispace as a widget for every one to see

How do I use it. You go to slideshare.net sign up for an account

Once you have your account go to upload and then browse and select your PowerPoint file 1 2

Wait for slideshare to upload your PP then click publish (it may take up to a minute)

Once it has finished uploading your file the page will refresh it’s self Then click “HERE”

Last step is to click on your PP and get the code to be copied to WIKI or blog 1 2

Adding the widget code to your wiki space open in a new tab or go back to your wiki space log in to it unless you already have done so Go to the page you would like to add this widget to (or create a new one for it) Click the Edit page link Click the “insert Widgets” icon on the tool bar

Click OTHER HTML and paste into the text box which appears the code that you copied from SLIDE.COM (either right click and choose paste or press CTRL +V) then Click Save

then SAVE again and you should see your slideshow on your page. If you get an error it will probably be better to copy the code again from slideshare.net and repeat all the steps which is why we opened our wikispaces in a new tab so that we can easily go back to slideshare.net and recopy the code.
