A News Source Location limit on the advanced search page can be used to limit the state or country of the news source.

This is in addition to, and different from, the Location limit for city, state, or ZIP code which tries to find articles about the location rather than just ones published in that area.

Neither the News Source Location nor the Location limits are available on the Google News Archive advanced search page.

Google Scholar: Free PDFs

Small green triangles sometimes show up for records and highlight a link that goes to a free PDF of the article, whether from an author's site or some other site that has posted the PDF.

Google Image Search

Limit searches by image types:

Line drawings

News content

Faces

Clip art

Photo contents

These new formats are available after a search from the "Any content“ dropdown box.

On the Advanced Image Search page, the new limits are available as "Content types“
