Phileas Fogg and his friend sneak into the bandits’ camp and manage to free Aouda. Though they are chased by the bandits, they have escaped unharmed. Phileas Fogg is a brave gentleman. In the story, Phileas Fogg symphatises with Aouda and takes care of her when she finds out that her relative is no more in Hong Kong. Phileas Fogg treats her well throughout the journey. Eventually, Aouda marries Phileas Fogg because of his kindness.
