  2. 2. CIRCLE • A closed curve figure, all points of which are equidistant from a fixed point called vertex.

  4. 4. RADIUS • A segment whose endpoints are in the center of the circle and the other endpoint is on the circle.
  5. 5. Chord • Is a segment whose endpoints are any two points on the circle.
  6. 6. Diameter • A chord which passes through the center of a circle.

  8. 8. Tangent • Is a line in the plane of a circle that intersects the circle at exactly one point. This point is called the point of tangency.
  9. 9. Central Angle • An angle formed by two radii of a circle with vertex on the center of the circle.
  10. 10. Arc • A part or a portion of a circle.
  11. 11. Semi - circle • Half of a circle, it measures 180 .
  12. 12. Minor Arc • Less than half of a circle
  13. 13. Major Arc • More than half a circle.
