Celerity NY/CT 2011— Quarter 1}BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT NEWS Celerity Selected to provide Portfolio Management services to Cigna’s Core Ops Program Governance and Reporting Support Function As a result of Cigna’s initiative to standardize and streamline processes across theorganization, an opportunity was created for Celerity to help Cigna improve the time-to-market of mission critical projects and management of risks and to give better insightinto actual costs. Celerity will align resources with the work streams to serve as integration points intothe effort, but also will allocate those same resources to develop and maintain frame-works, templates, and processes in support of the following functions: Integration Man-agement, Reporting and Governance. In supporting Integration Management, the Celerity team will be responsible for: de-veloping and managing an integrated view of programs, capabilities and projects andtheir expected delivery date of business value across work streams, managing crossdependencies of programs, capabilities and projects within work streams and se-quencing of project delivery based off dependencies and linkage to business priorities.To assist in the Reporting function, the team will capture, track and drive ownership ofthe resolution (or mitigation for risks) of PMO level action items, risks and issues andprovide summary level status reporting of progress across all work streams. The team will also establish and facilitate a change management process forchanges affecting the overall scope, schedule, and budget of work streams, inclusiveof change identification and impact analysis to prepare for key stakeholder decisionmaking as part of the Governance support effort.Celerity started these efforts in March 2011 and will continue through September 2011.
