We've all heard the term "Web 2.0", but what does it mean and how can it be used in higher education? In this presentation Laurie Bridges, the OSU Business & Economics Librarian, will discuss how faculty and staff in higher education are using Web 2.0 sites like Blogger, Facebook, Meebo, YouTube, and del.icio.us to connect with current and future students, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Whether you want to collaborate and communicate with someone across the hall, on the other side of the state, or in another country, there is a Web 2.0 tool for you.

    • Done. You now have a simple profile from which you can connect with students and colleagues, add photos and Facebook applications, create advertisements and “Facebook Fan Pages”, etc.
