  • As someone from an IIM and been in the industry for past decade, I quite see the graphs above being accurate. Yes it will surely have a sample bias - but its quite representative of a trend.

  • Thanks for the reply. There seems to be one flaw in this survey. Correct me if I am wrong.
    The people who are part of the survey have not been chosen randomly. As I understand the process 'visitors have landed on your site and are asked to participate. Some do and some don't.'

    There is a likelihood that people with poor salaries have chosen to opt out? People who feel happy about their salary (and thus command a better pay) have participated in large numbers. That's possible.

    Had you chosen your sample randomly, there would be no doubt on the findings.

  • I have a simple question. How were the respondents chosen? Did you email a link of the survey and ask people to choose? Did you send this email to everyone (mass email) or selected MBA and asked them to participate?
