Travel distance app 5m Bending factor 4,76xd ( 36% less than catalogue datas ) Result: Heavy corkscrew of competitor cable after 145.000 cycles, No signs of corkscrew on CF27 type after 5 Mio cycles. Direct Message: Specially CF27 is a legendary cable series because of many many failures customers had in the past with Servocables. The mixing of different cross section inside of one cable makes a lot of mechanical problems. The force needed for bending for the different cores is defferent so often the bigger one ( 10mm² ) „wins“ and the smaller one loose by following wrapping with corkscrew. The gusset filled innerjacket takes a lot of these different forces and makes that the resulting pulling forces will not „moving“ in the non bended cable parts. Additional the short pitch length eliminate a lot off cores pulling forces. Generally Message: In all igus chainflex ® cables are optimized mechanical features integrated.
