    2. Education 2.0 is going social and multimedia across the globe
    3. Every teacher and eLearning provider faces tough decisions while exploring Education2.0
    4. Unclear demands limit the expansion of Education2.0 won’t the students put strange material on it? How can we make sure the content is relevant? As a teacher I do not have the time to invest in new technologies How much does it cost? The technical demands are too high for our learners. If I keep quiet, this new rave will blow over Can I use my mobile device? How do we measure the outcomes?
    5. Education2.0 strengthens the knowledge & literacy of all learners co design and co deploy
    6. While implementing vodcasting Education2.0 boundaries will expand With broadcasting the world becomes your possible audience
    7. Let’s look at: advantages  pitfalls can you name some?
    8. Advantages of vodcasting Knowledge sharing
      • enhance multimedia and computer literacy
      • get information/knowledge from all regions accessible through the Net
      • cross the cultural divide by using visuals instead of text/language only
      • stimulate in-depth thinking amongst peers
      • content can be viewed anywhere at any time: bus, school, home, museum…
      And of course many, many more!!

    10. How to overcome pitfalls?
      • keep the movies short for easy updating
      • use standards (h264 codec, cross platform compression…)
      • be expressive throughout the production: voice, look dynamic, address the learners
      • use disclaimers and copyright licenses
      • deliver for all settings (cd-rom, online, mobile…)
      • give clear guidelines to learners on peer-2-peer commenting
    11. Education2.0 is participation that will stand the test of time
      • More senses and interaction involved
      • => better learning outcomes
