Lazyfeed: Real-time Content Discovery
Lazyfeed is a new service that pulls in information from various places around the web,
such as twitter, blogs, social networking sites, etc.
Unlike traditional RSS feeds, Lazyfeed’s content is based on tags and topics and is
displayed to you in real-time. All the content is fresh and continually streams in.. the feed
updates in real-time based on the tags you specify.
Once you have logged in to Lazyfeed, you will notice that the interface is divided into
three main sections.
1. Live Update – The Live Update section displays updates on anything you are interested in.
These topics are added by clicking on the <Save> button whenever you find something
new in Lazyfeed.
2. Browsing Screen – This section is the main part of the page and displays real-time feeds
based on the topics you select. You can view a page by directly typing in a topic from the
internal address bar, or by clicking through links and tags from within contents.
3. Status Bar – This section runs along the bottom of the page and is where your saved stuff
and topics for lazy me are located.
The Hot Topics section located at the top of the browsing screen when you first login.
This displays a compilation of the 10 most talked about topics on the web right now. At
the moment you can see that Bill Clinton is the most talked about topic at the moment,
Click on Bill Clinton.. this will display a new page in the browsing screen with real-time
stories that have been tagged “Billclinton”,
You can read the post by clicking on the title,
Or if you want to visit the actual site of this story, just click on the visit this page icon to be
redirected to the external site,
The hot topics display is updated every 10 seconds.
There are indicators to show whether a topic has risen (green arrow), fallen (red arrow),
remained (dash) or new (new entry) since the last update,
To start getting live Lazyfeed updates on topics that interest you just type in something
of interest in the search field at the top of the page.. then click <Go>,
Just like with the hot topics above, the real-time results are displayed for that topic,
After search for a particular topic, you will also be presented with many related topics,
Selecting any of the related topics will display real-time posts with that tag.
To save a topic just click on the <Save> button,
This saved topic now appears in your Live Update section,

the top of the list,
