It lies 335 km south west of the nearest large town, Alice Springs; 450 km by road. Uluru is listed as a World Heritage Site.<br />

There are over 60 different species of kangaroo and their close relatives, with all kangaroos belonging to the superfamily Macropodoidea.</li></li></ul><li>THE KOALA<br /><ul><li>Koalas are small bear like creatures who live along the east coast of Australia, with their habitat amongst the famous Eucalyptus trees.
