    • Successful establishment of IEEE LINK in Kerala resulted in converting the Dormant SBs to Active/Vibrant SBs through interaction among the SBs within the Section
    • Stay connected: Networking the people, around Region 10
    • Improve the SB coordination at Regional level
      • Groove new SBs
      • Sustain existing SBs
    • Low conversion rate of student members to GOLD members
    • Add Benefit to IEEE Student Membership within Region 10
    • Maximum utilization of Regional fund for students
    • Large potential for Student Activities to grow in Region 10
  • 7. Benefits
    • The benefit of the project is mainly two folded:
      • To make the dormant branches active, the active ones exemplary and to sustain the exemplary student branches by finding solutions to all the problems faced by the student branches.
      • To have more lectures/seminars/training workshops and in the process making providing the necessary technical/managerial skills.
    • There are more benefits which will be realized once the project is up and running….

    • Reserving seats for the colleges in the same hub in any inter college event
    • Giving opportunities to the dormant or less active SB’s
    • Utilizing the funding available from the region effectively in logistics and travel
    • Issues – travel, exams, funding et al.
