Why the need for Vocational rehabilitation <ul><li>Facts </li></ul><ul><li>600 million PWDs worldwide </li></ul><ul><li>370 million PWDs in Asia </li></ul><ul><li>238 million PWDs of working age in Asia </li></ul><ul><li>Most live in rural areas </li></ul><ul><li>Unemployment rate of PWD: doubled compared with that of general population, and nearly 80% in developing countries. </li></ul>

Major act 4: (cont) <ul><li>A Work center for PWDs with more severe disability </li></ul><ul><li>PWDs learn basic work behaviors, to build their work tolerance, make an adjustment to working </li></ul><ul><li>PWDs will be enabled and prepared in job behaviors, and job seeking skills </li></ul><ul><li>The Center will be located at a DPO enterprise </li></ul>

Major act 5: Develop and implement a M&E process <ul><li>Design the process: indicators, data collection, data analysis and sharing, data utilization </li></ul><ul><li>Revise VR processes, procedures (quarterly) </li></ul><ul><li>Collect data from PWDs, DPOs, service providers </li></ul><ul><li>Analyze and report on program effectiveness </li></ul><ul><li>Share with involved stakeholders about evaluation results </li></ul>
