  • What is Vocational Rehabilitation?
    • A continuous and coordinated process which involves the provision of vocational related services designed to enable a person with a disability to obtain employment.

    • 600 million PWDs worldwide
    • 370 million PWDs in Asia
    • 238 million PWDs of working age in Asia
    • Most live in rural areas
    • Unemployment rate of PWD: doubled compared with that of general population, and nearly 80% in developing countries.

    • Design the process: indicators, data collection, data analysis and sharing, data utilization
    • Revise VR processes, procedures (quarterly)
    • Collect data from PWDs, DPOs, service providers
    • Analyze and report on program effectiveness
    • Share with involved stakeholders about evaluation results
