This view, perpendicular to Qiblah direction, shows the view as one enters from the Northwest male entrance
It is designed to allow the female Prayer Hall to have visual access to the main floor and to the Imam
Curved Mihrab relationship is illustrated
One of the half domes attached to the main dome is over the female prayer area, allowing the gradual appreciation of the dome feature, which is shared by both male and female prayer areas. It also relieves the female section from having a monotonous flat ceiling throughout
Basement is shown with its relationship to the multi-purpose area
The interior of the Mosque is designed with the concept of providing:
Naturally well-lit interior in the day time and carefully located lighting fixtures providing comfortable lighting in the evenings
Main entrances to the male and female Prayer Halls are directed toward Qiblah direction facing the Mihrab and Minbar
Dome is set to the center of this space to provide a sense of unity and dignity
