Then, the data is then stored inthe data warehouse, where data can be transformed to represent variousrelationships.

You canalso run the reports independently. This slide shows the list of data warehousereports that are in the RM application. Drill-through reports are detailed reports that areusually invoked by data warehouse reports. However, you can run the reportsindependently. Many reports provide parameter values thatyou can select to determine which artifactsare included in the report. For example, insome reports, if you adjust the Project,Priority, and Type values, you can filter theinformation in your report. In addition, inmany reports you can click graphics todisplay more information by opening a drill-through report. You run the report from the IBM® Cognos®Connection.

To verify that requests are linked torequirements, you can view the pie chart tosee the percentage of requirements that arecovered by links to development items andthe percentage of requirements that are notcovered, or have no associated requests. Ifrequirements are not linked to requests, investigate to find out why, and create links ifnecessary.

If requirements do not have test cases, investigate to find out why, and create testcases if necessary.Watch for requirements that are not linked totest cases.

Usually as the project progresses, the number in the initial statuses, such as"Proposed," decreases, and the number inlater statuses, such as "Incorporated,"increases. Otherwise, requirements might notbe satisfied. Look for a reasonabledistribution by priority and stability. Noteverything can be high priority. Too much"Low" stability might indicate a problem.
