Description
► In this lab, you log in as Bob. You had a meeting with a customer. You want to save the meeting minutes, and even extract a few requirements from them You also want to keep continuity, and assure you will know in the future were the requirements were extracted from.

You are in the lab environment All Projects page of the RM application (https://jazz-server:9443/rm/web). You are logged in as bob with password bob.2. Navigate to the the JKE (Requirements Management) project Artifact page. Hint: In the My Projects section,find the JKE Banking (Requirements Management) project and click Show Artifacts.3. If necessary, go to the JKE Business Recovery Matters Project folder.4. From the Artifacts menu, click Import.5. Select Import a text document and convert to a rich-text artifact, and then click Next.6. In the “Select text document” window, specify information about the document to import:a. Browse to the Desktop directory and click Requirements > JKE Browser Support.doc.b. In the Artifact Name field, type Browser Support Requirements.c. For the artifact type, select Supporting Resource.d. For the folder to place the imported content in, browse to the JKE Business Recovery Matters Projectfolder and click Project Meetings.e. Ensure that Import for editing and viewing is selected.7. Click Finish.Task 2: Extract requirements from a rich-text artifactAs you are reviewing your minute notes (just imported from a document into a rich text artifact) you realize thatthere they contain one or more requirements. You extract a requirement artifact from the notes.1. Open the Browser Support Requirements artifact for editing.2. Scroll down and select the text in the artifact that specifies the requirements for browser support, and then clickthe Save Selection as New Artifact and Link icon on the toolbar.Figure 1: The Save Selection as New Artifact and Link icon.

In the Save Selection as New Artifact (Link) window, specify information about the artifact to link to:a. In the Name field, type Browser support.b. For artifact type, select Feature.c. For artifact format, select Text.d. Verify the description and ensure that the link type is Extracted.e. To specify the folder to place the artifact in, browse to the JKE Business Recovery Matters Projectfolder and click Features.4. Click Finish. The new feature requirement is displayed as a link in the Browser Support Requirements artifact.Figure 2: The new feature artifact maintains an extracted link to the original artifact.5. Save the artifact.6. In the right sidebar, expand the Links section and confirm that the new link is listed as an Extracted link.7. Hover over the the extracted link and review the information in the rich hover view.. Notice the link. The“Extracted from” link in the Links section points to the original meeting notes artifact.8. Click the link to go to the new artifact.9. Return to the Artifacts page of the JKE Banking (Requirements Management) project.
