  • 2.  WHO SAYS THAT HAND-MADE PAPER-MAKING IS DIFFICULT? NOT AT ALL. FROM THE “RICHARD THE BAS WATERMILL” IN AMBERT, THE VERY HEART OF FRANCE, OUR MATE MILA, AN EXPERT “PAPETIÉRE”, SHOWS US ALL THE PROCESS IN 6 EASY STEPS.
  • 3.  MATERIALS YOU NEED: A WATERMILL IN AMBERT, A TRAY WITH A REMOVABLE FRAME AND PAPER PASTE, WELL MIXED PREVIOUSLY.
  • 4.  PUT THE TRAY INTO THE BARREL AND FILL IT COMPLETELY WITH PASTE
  • 5.  DRAIN OFF ALL REMAINING WATER.
  • 6.  GET THE FRAME OUT OF THE TRAY.
  • 7.  PLACE THE TRAY IN THE EXACT POSITION AS IN THE PICTURE AND TURN IT OVER A SHEET OF THIN PAPER.
  • 8.  NOW PUSH THE TRAY WITH BOTH HANDS SO THAT THE PASTE WILL REMAIN ON THE SHEET OF THIN PAPER.
  • 9.  ET VOILÀ!!! YOUR PAPER IS DONE. NOW YOU ONLY HAVE TO HANG IT FROM CLOTHESPINS FOR DRYING AS YOU DO WITH YOUR SOCKS.
