Let's get started Catching the horse .

Tie the horse up using a halter with a lead rope .

Grooming the Horse use a curry comb, a brush and a mane comb

Cuts Check for any cuts or abrasions You may want to wait until they heal.

Cleaning out the hoofs of the horse Hoof Pick

Time to saddle Western saddle blanket

Start with a clean blanket or saddle pad. L ay the blanket or pad on the horse’s back.

Next set the saddle on the blanket, working from the left or near side. Before tightening the saddle, check it for frayed or cracked leather pieces .
