What Travel Documents Should be Completed <ul><li>Travel/Accommodation Request Form – this is completed by the employee requesting permission to go on the trip </li></ul><ul><li>Needed to stop people just going on trip without telling colleagues </li></ul><ul><li>Travel Booking Form </li></ul><ul><ul><li>When you have been given permission and the method of travel have been selected this form will be completed and sent to the travel agent </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Accommodation Order Form </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The travel agent may then ask the company to complete an Accommodation Order Form </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Itinerary </li></ul><ul><ul><li>This document provides key information on date, venues, meetings </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Completed before you go on a trip </li></ul></ul>

Paying for Travel <ul><li>Methods of payment </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Cash – local currency obtained from the travel agent, you must keep receipts if paying by cash!!! </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Traveller Cheque – you pay for these in advance of the trip and get reimbursed if you don’t use them all </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Debit Card (Switch) – when your card is swiped the money is taken directly from your bank account to the companies </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Credit Card (Master card) – this card allows you to buy goods and pay for them at a later date. You have to pay the interest on credit card balances </li></ul></ul>
